We Have Arrived!
We finally arrived at our final destination. After a cummulative 13 and a half hours on the road, a near sleepless night in the Walmart parking lot in Burley, Idaho, and sweltering temperatures soaring well over 100 degrees we finally arrived at the sandy little plot of land and concrete pad that would be ours for the next week.
We quickly set up housekeeping. We unloaded all the quads, which would become our main form of recreation for the next several days, pulled out the awning for some protection from the afternoon sun, furnished the patio , and proceeded to just kick back. There is a time change when you leave Jackpot, Nevada and cross into Idaho; you lose an hour as the time jumps ahead to mountain time, so naturally we had to recover from jet lag! ....And if you believe that I have a little concrete pad I'd like to sell to you.
