Racin' Fever

This picture is from the races last season. This year's season has just begun. The first race (03/25) was rained out, but they raced in Hawthorne on 04/08. Cody placed first and Shelby came in third in her class. After every race she asks her daddy to make her quad go faster so I guess some upgrades are in the works. Unfortunately for Shelby, her talent is growing more quickly than her body.

Happy Easter from Hope

Shelby wanted her bunny to wish everyone a Happy Easter!

Cody's First Truck

Here are Cody and his best friend, Eddie, out four-wheelin' this past January. The two of them decided they couldn't do much damage to the truck so they put it to the test.......needless to say, we got a cell phone call, "We're stuck, can you come pull us out?". We almost couldn't get to them, you wouldn't believe where they took that little truck! Good thing I wasn't there to watch when they did it. But, Dad saved the day and everyone got home safe and the boys had alot of fun and a good story.

Shelby's Spring Kindergarten Picture

Shelby posing for her latest school picture. She is enjoying school although, I think she is getting bored with all the coloring.

Cody and his "newer" truck

Here is Cody looking pretty proud of his most recent purchase. He has been working really hard at the local motorcycle shop for almost a year now and has been good about saving his money; Here he stands with the fruits of his labor!

This is new!

Well, some friends recently took a trip and blogged their daily activites each evening; I followed their excursion, it was almost like being there with them. So, I decided this might be a good way to let friends and family, near and far, keep up on what the Casaus family is doing. I have never tried this before so please, bear with me. My plan is to periodically add pictures of our adventures and stories of what we are all doing. Be sure to check back frequently and feel free to add comments. I think this should be fun if I can figure it all out. I will be adding the first pictures real soon, until then, wish me luck.
