"Graduation"

Shelby all dressed up and ready for her "graduation"/promotion ceremony. She was very excited, but informed me her "tummy is a little bit tickley about tonight". I had planned on what she was going to wear for the evening, but she quickly lined me out and informed me she had already decided on what she was going to don for the big event. Since it was her big day I let her wear what she had chosen; I think she made an excellent choice. She was beautiful!

The next thing on her calendar will be her performance in "The Reunion", the production being put on by The Dance Workshop. There will be three nights of performances and Shelby will be performing on the third night, June 29. The show will will bring to a close Shelby's third year of dance.

Before and After

These are pictures of Shelby at either end of her Kindergarten year. The first is a picture of her on the morning of her first day and the latter is a picture of her at the end of her last day. Not only has she grown in size, but in social skills and attitude as well. She enjoyed Kindergarten but is very definitely ready to move on to bigger and more challenging tasks. She made many new friends this year and is looking forward to seeing them again in the first grade.....or even this summer at the park and pool.
